This might sound sudden, but we have been working on it over the course of the month, so please hear us out.
We’re aware that there has been bad blood between us and International Block. However, as you guys have probably realized by now, there is only so much both sides can do separately. In hopes of improving the fandom and allocating our services more efficiently, we have decided to put aside our differences and merge.
What does this merge mean:
1. International Block will remain as the official forum for international BBCs.
2. This Tumblr will become the new official Tumblr for International Block.
3. @bontheblock will become the new official tweet translations Twitter for International Block. (This will still be run exclusively by us)
4. 7ONTHEBLOCK will become the new official YouTube subbing channel for International Block. (This will still be run exclusively by us for the time being)
5. News and other translations will be tweeted out with a link to the article on the forum. However, we are aware that most of our followers are weary of logging in to forums. As such, updates will be cross-posted to the Tumblr (without a tweet-out).
6. We will still troll you if you ask us stupid questions.
Going forward, the above changes will be put into effect immediately.
We have also become admins on the forum: Jiwon (seoulfoood) and Yoomi (VITALSIGN). Likewise, there have been significant staff changes made within International Block to accommodate this merge.
We hope that you’ll continue supporting us and Block B.

Now that the professional shit’s out of the way, what we really meant to say is that we’re not bullshitting anyone, especially since it’s obvious to all what both teams lack. We may be strong on translations and subbing, but we lack pretty much everything else, and most importantly, a community. Updates are nice and all, but not if you don’t have someone to share your thoughts with.
This merge won’t be easy, but we’re going to make it work so don’t freak out or anything that we’re losing ourselves. We’re still the crazy girls that you trusted enough to press follow and put up with, okay?
As always, we work for BBCs. Your opinion matters the most and we’re going to make sure that it gets accommodated 100%. This Tumblr is yours, so don’t be afraid to drop an ask and tell us what changes you don’t want us making, especially with things like cross-posting and synching ourselves with the forum. We’re going to try to merge this Tumblr in as smoothly as possible, but the road will definitely be bumpy. Stick with us still, yeah?
