Miss $ is a Korean hip hop duo under Brand New Stardom comprised of members Yumi (Oh Yumi) and Jace. Former members include Tae Hye Young and vocal featurings by Ne;MO. They mainly specialize in ballads and rap/hip hop.
The ladies debuted on November 18, 2008 with their single, “Miss $ Diary” (title track: Don’t Cheat) and have gone on to release three more albums including “Miss $ Class” in 2009 (title track: What Is Love), “Miss Independent” in 2010 (title track: What Have You Done At That Age), and “Pro. MIss U” the following month (title track: Promise U).

The label was created as a merger between Cho PD and Rhymer. The name itself stems from Rhymer’s former label, Brand New Production, and Cho PD’s former label, Stardom.
Stardom was established in 1998 by Cho PD himself to distribute his own albums following his debut. The name was changed to Future Flow after the release of his third album and the label went on to discover and debut artists like Ra. D and Dok2.
Future Flow was abandoned due to some discord within the label but later incorporated into the Brand New Stardom merger.
Rhymer himself is a hip hop artist and producer that has been promoting since 1996. Other names you should know are MasterKey and Assbrass, Brand New Stardom’s in-house producers. Rhymer and MasterKey in particular are known for mainstream hits like “TTL Listen 2” and “Acquaintance.”
