[BBI PR] #Announcement
After some discussion, we came up with a temporary (for now) project in hopes of helping Block B gain more international exposure. If you haven’t noticed, there aren’t a lot of news items on our group, so we’ve decided to create an informal PR team that will just write up press releases on behalf of the forum so that they can either by tipped in by fans to major K-Pop sites or be picked up by the sites themselves to use as reference material when writing about Block B (we’ve noticed our work being credited as a source on K-Pop sites).
As a writer myself, I know that it’s hard writing about rookie groups because there’s either a lot of information left out or you don’t know who’s connected to who within the group. This is to help bridge that gap and make it easier for K-Pop sites to pick up on that information and do what they need to do to get our boys out there.
You may offer to join as a guest writer if you have some free time and would like to help with the project.
Unfortunately, we’ve decided that this Tumblr would be the best platform for this since it allows for quick, easy access, so we apologize in advance for spamming your dashboards with information you (hopefully) already know.
If you would like to help out, submit a story or drop an e-mail to blockbintl7@gmail.com. Duties will include turning sel-ca updates, certain Twitter updates, show summaries, and other pertinent information into a piece of writing with all details explained (for example, if Zico refers to Hanhae, Hanhae must be explained for the general audience to understand). Write as if your audience knows nothing about Block B.
None of us have formal experience in public relations and writing press releases. We believe, however, that it’s the effort that counts. Please help by doing your part and tipping to sites like Koreaboo, Soompi, etc.
We do not represent Brand New Stardom in any way. This is a spin-off project solely by the fans.
